Newbie here w/Q's...

So I'm sitting on a hefty bag full of dried leaf...

I plan on turning a bunch of it into butter- something I've done a bunch in the past. I'm just sitting on enough where I'd like to make some hash. Can I do this with just leaf? I've never done this before, so as much detailed info would be greatly appreciated. What's the best way to do this at home without these bubble bags?

So yeah...get me going???

Also, has anybody ever tried this kind of hash maker with just leaves???

Go through the bag and remove all sticks and stems.Then get a metal kitchen strainer(the finest metal mesh with the smallest hole size) Grind shake with your hands so it all goes to small sized bits(1-2 mm size) Run it all through the strainer.Then get a "tea strainer" sieve and run it all through that.You will be left with green dust......

Get a trash can/rubbish bin and fill with the coldest water(ice helps)...pour in the dust ,stir well and let settle for 15 mins.Use the kitchen strainer to remove all the leaf matter off the top by skimming.Once all the floating stuff has been removed let sit for an hour then use a plastic tube to syphon off 95% of the liquid.You'll be left with some fine gunk at the bottom....spread it out and dry it out...

Smoke it.

blend ice, water and (yes just leaf will do) or small bud if you have it for about 20 minutes with electric mixer or some other form of agitation, ..use mosquito netting to strain the leaf and ice out and a high thread count white bedsheet to strain the trichs out and voila!... a big ol' cake of hash

1 ounce of hash per dry pound of sugar leaf is about what I expect on average
if you have just fan leaves the yield will be a bunch lower probably half or less

What's the difference between sugar leaf and fan leaves...?

sugar leaf is what you get when the buds are trimmed, the smaller leaves around the buds
fan leaves are the big leaves on the plant

got over 2 gallons of fans and trim left over last chop, think i may try a non bag ghetto version like some of these. Don't suppose one gets much sieve selection with coffee filters...lol ohhwell:Noooo:
