ok, if the power goes out(im in a winter zone) am i gonna suffer a big diff? Like if the lights and power is off for 48 hours means no control, so will i lose the crop? we are windy and rain now and power could go , needing a moral support really
thanks

they can handle down to 40F (4 degrees celsius) without freezing...if it gets that cold you can help them by feeding them warmer water 70-80F, a piece of styrofoam or something to insulate them if they are on concrete, a blanket around the pot, small propane cook stoves, etc

If it goes black for a couple days and you keep them alive, keep an eye out for nanners afterwords.

We had wicked storms on New Year's eve last year in humboldt, that took down everything and some growers lost power for up to a full week, but the ones I talked to said that it was not as disastrous as they anticipated. So 48 hours of dark isn't anything to worry about. Temperature is more important since you're in a cold area.

Full power outage would mean you have free reign to run a generator in a residential area without any suspicion :D
