Hi big guy, just kinda movin in dude! I got this alfalfa tea down now. I have a full tea schedule from seedling to harvest. Works well on my heavy feeders. I would like to thank you and frank for hanging in there when the bullshit got deep. Sometimes being out front means more people can see ya to throw rocks at ya. I thought all in all your research was headed in the right direction. I hope that maybe your research will continue.:D

Yea I thought so too ...I kept ducking and Frank kept getting pelted ....poor Frank.
We did run a thread in HG420 and several jumped on the band wagon over there where we used MSM and alfalfa. Pics were posted by members using it and the results were outstanding so much so that it ran them out of their grow areas. Most ere astounded at the results. Maybe one day people will be able to come to grips with this concept. It truely is cutting edge for this forum as it has been around for years.
I brought alfalfa into this culture and it works great and it is nice to see people use it. Although, the use of alfalfa had been used for over a 100 yrs.
Glad to see ya Marigyp

IBB;

Do you water your plants with alfalfa tea, every watering? If you're using either DMSO or MSM, what is the ratio to your alfalfa tea? Can you use it into flowering, without the alfalfa tea? Can DMSO or MSM be used in non soil/soilless growing, eg aero, dwc, e/f?

I've been using alfalfa tea in my organic greenhouse and garden for a long time, sure does kick the veggies in the pants, now I'm really curious as to it's useage, along with DMSO or MSM with cannabis, especially in hydro.

Tks...........DD

Could someone post a link to the HG420 thread or cut N paste it here.
I really like alfalfa because it's clean & easy to handle & store, cheap & easy to find, and because of all the great things folks say about it. I would really like to learn more.
Btw, what's "DMSO & MSM"?

Thanks,
~GM~

IBB:

It might not hurt, to revive the discussion here, at the "NEW" CW, about DMSO & MSM, what makes them work so well, as well as the potential hazards. I, for one, would like to hear this information, from the ground up.

Can i use a few alfalfa sprouts (u know the edible supermarket item ) to start the culture ?

while I have no idea if the sprouts will contain Triacontanol at such a young age they won't have all the nutrients of fully grown plants that had root systems deep into the soil. See if your supermarket has alfalfa pellets in their vitamin dept, or check your local health food store.
I've seen some people use rabbit food pellets but often those products have salt added, something I avoid. Who wants salty buds?

there is this as well... http://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/archive/index.php/t-211.html

is it better to use the alphalfa raw bail for rabbits...or the pellets? I've got the raw(straw looking stuff) for my worm bin, and I was wondering if it would work well for a tea.

I use the stuff from the farm supply, looks like ground up hay. Seems to work real nice with a little molasses and some bubbles going on to promote the aerobic bacteria.

My plants swear by it...LOL.

The farmer I bale alfalfa hay for sells it @ $3 a bale (aprox. 50-60 lbs.)
If you can get it, the 2nd cut is always more desirable (usually 3 cuts per season, sometimes 4)
I've found Cottonseed Meal will getcha the same results to fwiw.
