diesel generator info?

could someone point me in the right direction for info about setting up one for powering a grow? obviously there are some stealth issues that you can`t ask the salesman about. I remember reading a pretty good thread on the old cw but don`t remember much about it. thanks-

there are really only two stealth issues: noise and exhaust

either one is a valid issue that can be discussed without any worry as they are a common concern for anyone planning to use a gen set.

I`m talking about things like setting it up to come on and off if you`re not there, disguising the need for large amonts of diesel fuel ect. not the need to "hide" the machine itself. thanks-

seting them up to come on when there is a need for power should be fairly straightforward because they are usually needed on power demand like as a backup powersource for hospitals etc. As far as fuel goes, large amounts of diesel can be bought as stove oil, or you could even run pure filtered kitchen oil instead of diesel. Many kitchens will give it to you for free... at least untill it catches on in a big way. Just tell them you are eco-friendly :D
