TRees VS. SEA's

So what is it C-w Are Sea of grean better than growing trees or vise versa..
latly a 2 buddys growing 2 different styles harvested and my buddy who had 16 sites out performed my other buddy with 4x4 cubes in sea of green. but the buddy with 4x4 cubes had some issues..
what you think?

all depends on style of the plant and all that jazz, as too which way you take her for maximum return...

Light, light penetration, bud density, air flow, nutrients are only a few factors to account for. I, personally, love trees. Few plants and a grand yield, makes sure the summers are easy going and paranoia free.

Trees outdoors would fill my summers with paranoia even if there were only a few. Trees indoors on the other hand, if that can be done, would not be too tough to take!

Both actually. In my devil may care days, my grow room was literally my bedroom. I sealed the windows and put the plants on my sleep/wake cycle. 6 trees , three on either side of the bed with 2k of lighting hanging from the middle of the ceiling. The ticket in Canada always seems to be numbers. Theres nothing like waking up under a canopy.

sog will outperform the same wattage tree grow, simply over time. If it takes you even a month of veg time in the big room and 3 weeks in the small room you are still looking at a 3 month cycle vs. 2 month cycle. So yeild needs to be 2/3 or less for sog over what a tree grow would do, ie, if you got 30 # out of a tree grow, you should get 20# off a sog grow, which would then make them even at 10#/month.

Trees are more problematic due to the fact that more stuff can break, more time to break and wreck havoic, etc.

Sog is lots of plants with larger setups. If I were to venture into the commercial world, I would say trees are better if you are playing the #'s game for legality, but if you dont care, then sog will always be the better option. Its easier, its less pita, you have to clone more but then you dont' do anything but water changes until harvest.

Good points.
The one thing I have noticed is that only certain strains yield well in SOG, whereas almost all strains yield decently when grown to a bigger size.
