i am using gh mirco 9.5 ml and bloom 8 ml to a gallon for bouth plants and i floowed the nute profile for a tomatoe plant and this mix is as close as i can get and its still not doing the job. lucas said it may be from low co2 leves and low do in the rez will i fix the co2 prouble as well as the do proublem and it not working in fact the plant in the flod and drain is in the window and get pleanty of fresh air , has any one been able to grow heathy tomotes in a hyrdo and if so what ferts did you use and what was the mix ratio?

Hi--I experimented with tomatos this summer. They were grown outdoors, in 8' pots of hydroton, top fed from a 20 gal reservior. I used Miracle-Gro All-Purpose plant food--4 table spoon for 20 gal. This worked out well.

I wanted to keep it simple, and didn't want to waste my GH nutes. I originally bought Miracle-Gro for tomatos, and called the 800 # on the package. The girl on the phone said to use the all-purpose, and not the stuff for tomatos.
