BHO BUdder

[Bram]

What you will need:

1 Glass Pie Plate
some killer transparent BHO
a sturdy safety pin (I like to use a Kilt pin)

1st Step: Take your chunk of BHO (it should be hard as rock candy for best results), put it in the middle of the pie.http://www.fileden.com/files/817/Thelma%20and%20Candy%20014.jpg

2nd Step: Now put the pie plate on a double boiler just warm enough to make the BHO go gooey.http://www.fileden.com/files/817/Thelma%20and%20Candy%20019.jpg

3rd Step: Start whippin' tha' BHO with the safety pin like you would do for making whipped cream. The budder should start to turn opaque as you whip it. Once the budder is opaque as it will go, let it sit for up to 3 hrs. on the double boiler, maintaining that low low temp.http://www.fileden.com/files/817/Thelma%20and%20Candy%20020.jpg

4th Step: Once your BHO has reached budder consistency, put it somewhere dark to cure on the pie plate for 3-4 days (this helps get rid of any last bit of butane that could possibly still be in there. Enjoy.http://www.fileden.com/files/817/Thelma%20and%20Candy%20022.jpg

I remember when people were going nuts for the budder at da kine in Vancouver. Is it really that much stronger than regular BHO?

THIS is a farcry from the inferior product that I saw flogged as "budder" at da kines (everything I ever saw/smoked there was just ISO honey left to go brittle) What I believe makes the budder seem more potent is that the solvent is as removed from the smoking material as possible, along with being way smoother allowing a bigger toke to be consumed. (I have found that the more solvent there is left behind in the oil, the less defined the high is as well as actually not being as potent.) Also the flavour comes out WAYYYYY more when you budder it up.

I would let the budder decide on that one myself. After yield, taste, differences in Highs developed more. Then the cream will rise to the top, imwo.

Really, it just continues that curing process on the budder. I find its also better to use nicely cured material too when you make your BHO. More flavour that way.

you get tons of killer flavor from just freshly dried weed of many species tho. maybe more flavor than after a cure even. not as refined and complex maybe, but more raw flavor.

ya, as the plant flushes the chlorophyls breakdown (so I understand) and thus you are left with nice golden buds. Which also make purer oil imo do to the broken down chlorophylls.
