Highend F2 - 2 phenos

I am only part ways done, but the crystal content is obvious [click-on and enlarge the skunk pheno (2nd pic), it is almost white at 5 weeks].

The normal looking plant is a great yielder, the droopy-leaf one is the skunky pheno (more potent IMO).
The second two pics are before flowering and removing 45 cuts off the bottom of each plant.

Here's one at six weeks and yes, it is skunky, even with fresh charcoal in the filter....just a little whiff when you first get in.

Nice job, you can tell the huge banana-like leafs on the skunky pheno, that's a keeper strain, I am smiling from ear-to-ear knowing I was able to gift something nice to others, you do that strain justice.
I think it suits a 'confined space' grow well, as it doesn't stretch much.

I went and felt those buds at about 42 days, and they are as hard as rocks, cannot be squeezed a cm., I was shocked, good job L.

The nugs are rock hard at 40 days, like rocks.
They look like they have 7 - 10 days left, but I will go 14 as I just flushed a few days ago.
Depending on the growth technique, I would say the phenos are 7 - 8 weeks.

Could be growth technique (extreme wet/dry or pH fluctuation), but the skunky pheno has a tendency to droop at the slightest overwatering, so I'd say a bit of both.
We'll have a better idea soon, as I have been spreading this strain around and some great growers will give reports in the coming months (I hope).

The leaves on that plant just tend to be droopy, maybe it's because they are so frickin huge, lol, but the ones I'm growing have the same thing going on whether they are dry, wet or somewhere inbetween.

The PG-SUS does it really bad, and I hear a lot of Sativas don't like heavy nutes.

I would guesstimate that your plant is less than 18" tall, and will yield an Oz.

I gave them both a good watering again and I'll let them dry out and then they are going down. They haven't been fed for almost 2 weeks now and my weed always burns to white ash so it's all good. Here's a couple more I think aren't so fuzzy.

Okay Okay, Jeez.

Oops, broke off the bottom branch on the Rene pheno Highend (damn....), so I decided to run it through the BHO tube fresh (yes fresh, not dried).

It came back amazing, I am sweating off the first hoot on the Unobtanium, and that's at 6 1/2 weeks (1 week early), fresh, and 1/2 flushed (it still tastes amazing).
You'll note the kevlar glove with cut-resistant rubber dots and the safety glasses because of the pyrex tube (thanks for suggesting BM).
The first 5 seconds of rinse is the whiter pile, and the rest of the can is the darker pile, I call this the old one/two punch.... lol

The finger-hash on this strain is as sticky as the Merritt (Watty) Kush.

In order cut after 53 days;
Highend Rene pheno (IMO), soapy/flowery smellin with a bit of diesely sweetness like the other pheno.
Highend skunk pheno, purpling buds and twice as crystally, tasty as can be.
Then both together, skunk on the left and bottom of the Rene, buds cut on the skunk pheno and placed in position for the pic.
You can see in the last pics the stalk size difference, skunk is thicker.

Gonna have to get back to you on the potency I am wake-n-baking with BHO and Tim's french-vanilla today thanks to the mailman.

Final tally, 2 3/8 off the Rene pheno, 2 1/8 off the skunk pheno, and 90 cuts off the two moms.

Even as month-old moms in 1 gallon pots the difference is obvious.
The skunk pheno has giant leaves and stalks that are twice the thickness of the other pheno. It stays the same after triggering while the other pheno stretches a bit and ends up virtually the same height, but the skunk pheno finishes a bit faster. It truly looks and performs like a freak.

The Rene pheno produces nanners like the mom of this cross, for me at about 7 - 7 1/2 weeks.
Didn't see any on the skunk pheno.
Lost a little weight during jarring, about 2 1/8 off Rene, 1 7/8 skunk.

For whatever reason (I think picking too late) the skunk pheno isn't that skunky this crop. It was way more skunky last time, and smelled skunky this time while drying and in the bag, but it smokes more flowery.
I'm wondering if I altered the terpenes because I let it to go over-ripe this go-round, or the bat-guano and Earth-Juice contributed to a different aroma this time.

Guess you'll have to do them both ways next time and compare. Have seen some strains lose their smell and taste when picked later. Rene for instance.More flavorful at 56 days. More powerful in the 60's,but less smell and taste.Oh hey Rene is one of the parents,right. Peace GS

Culling some sample plants at day 46, look fully done, will compare every 5 days.
This time the Rene pheno looks more done early???? I would suggest that I am quoting observations based somewhat on wishful thinking, I will experiment, then comment after from now on.
I am doing NO PBlend after trigger as suggested by PB and NO organics this time, I want to test the terpene's smell/taste solely on it's own merit, establish a baseline and to try and see if the first combination I used was responsible for the skunkiness the one pheno had crop before last (missing this last crop), or what....
Rene pheno has particularily sticky resin, purpling buds in 1/2 gallon of soil, 12 - 15" tall.
Went easier on nutes this time (& no MBloom), no nanners, and flushing is going faster, these pics were taken after the first week of flush (1/2 done).

Not great performers as small plants (just over a foot average), but the weed is very tasty, both phenos I would class as 'super-potent', which I consider very few strains, I'll add The Feak to that list, as well as Special K.....
By super-potent I mean the right combination of terpenes and enough THC, to make you intoxicated......

I only ever had 2 moms of these phenos. HMK gifted me 4 seeds of Kanebosem's Highend F2's last year and I got 2 female phenos.
The last pics were all the same (Rene pheno) mom's cuts, if that's what you meant, LST'd at 9" tall and triggered at about a foot.
The other (skunkier) pheno has thicker stems/buds and grows more like in a cola dominant shape.

The pics on the top of this page (post #34) shows 2nd generation cuttings from the seed moms harvested at 7 1/2 weeks, the plants shown in post 41 were Rene pheno cuts from those cuts (3rd generation) and are what I will keep as moms for those strains, simply out of convenience.

Ya it's the big leaf one. TUG isn't calling it the Skunk pheno cause in later generations of clones it's lost some of it's skunkiness and the big leaves are a trait of the blueberry I presume.

Hard to tell from pictures, but that looks like Rene's Cousin. I think the Frankenberry is way better (potency and taste), but people who like hybrids/sativas really like the dankness of the RC. More potent than Rene I would say, maybe not as tasty, what do you think?

I've had this clone going for about three years now, monkey5. Very berry with skunk taste, hard nugs goes 6 1/2-7 weeks to flower but it is an extremely sloooooow vegger. The buzz is heavy, might be good for pain IDK, but it is good for appetite stimulation, hahaha.
