I promised marigyp that I would post these so I'm going to do it now before the worst happens.

The PB Bars are low carb and sugar free but have more fat than I like per serving.

Peanut Butter Protein Bars *super potent*

Ingredients:
2 TBSP no sugar peanut butter
2 TBSP cannabutter, melted
1/2 tsp liquid artificial sweetner *saccharin, stevia, liquid Spenda*
1/4 cup Splenda or 4 packets Sweet n Low
One scoop vanilla whey protein powder

Melt peanut butter and butter in microwave or double boiler.

Mix in the sweetner thoroughly.

Add protein powder and stir until able to form a ball. Roll up in a ball and kneed for a few seconds. Seperate into even four even portions and roll into balls. Place in refrigerator until firm. Makes 4 servings.

WARNING!!! One of these is as about as strong as two cannacookies.

Ingredients:
1/2 cannabutter softened
4 1/2 ounces almond or soy flour
1 cup granulated Splenda or 4 droppers Stevia *I use chocolate rasp.*
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp granulated Splenda

In medium bowl, beat butter on med-high for about 30 seconds. Add about half almond or soy flour and Splenda or liquid sweetner, egg, vanilla, and baking soda. Beat until well combined. Beat in remaining almond or soy flour. Cover and chill in bowl for 1 hour. In a small bowl, combine 2 TBSP Splenda and cinnamon, mix well. Divide the chilled dough into 24 balls about 1 inch in diameter. Roll them quickly and gently because the dough softens fast. Gently roll each ball in the cinnamon/Splenda mixture to coat and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes until lightly browned at the edges. Let cool before removing from cookie sheet.

Makes 24 servings
Can be frozen

I think very excellent and tasty recipes for diabetics. My father-in-law is a diabetic patient. If I tried this preparation for him, he will be very happy. Thanks for the recipe.

Pestos and other spreads of that nature made with cannabis-olive oil as a base are great for diabetics. There is no sugar and they can be quite tasty (and potent).
