Hi everyone,
I hope the fall harvest is going well for everyone, I've sampled some of this years produce and have been impressed so far.
Ive got a new grow going with a medical patient in my area and luckily he loves variety as much as I do and doesn't mind if I run 10 diff strains!!
I would like to try and document my grow here and maybe get a few pics up when the time comes...if we find something interesting.
lighting is 2kw hps hortilux for now in a space about 6x12, which at 27wpsf is kinda weak. we will see how it goes and I will maybe close it in a little for bloom time.
We are starting with some clones and seeds
Vision Thai and crazy daze are the clones- maybe 15 total
OG bX1 from suge knight- 8
bchashxghaze- 4
nlx hashplant(early 90's)-4
mazarx(bwg13xghaze)-5
montreal bagseed(somethin tropical tasting)-1
I also have started 12 seedlings of the first of about 8 diff outdoor crosses that Capt Carnuba has gifted me. we are calling this first one C-1
I've also sprouted 2 more of his lines C2, and C3 he has told me that these are both crosses with herijuana, one was mothered by VC's ssxmmxeg....
I really hope to find some early potent clones for next year from the outdoor beans.
Im also sprouting some mothers finest to get ready for the next round!!!!
everything is in 2-3 gallon pots with a special organic mix and will be fed.....you guessed it ORGANICALLY!! so I will veg for only afew weeks as the seedlings are fairly old for their size and should be mature enough to go soon.
I will update the best I can here and hope to have some fun looking at diff strains as always!!!
PEACE

Hi guys, thanks for stopping in....I promise it will get more interesting as we grow!!!
vapor- I dont think it was the jack, couldn't be sure. I saved the seed, so it must be good...looks like a indy/sat mix so far...time will tell all.

Don't even think about the wattage per square foot.
It is absolutely ridiculous that people place such a high priority on it.
Directly under the bulb, do you honestly think that it's only getting 27 watts of light ?
Funny how people seem to think that.....dumb ass stoners :)
It's not how much area you have, nor is it how much light you have....
It's all about how to best utilize what you do have.

Hi Dman, the crazy daze is great!!! The clone I kept stretches a bit, but nothing like some of her sisters!!! There were a few in the pack that were 16weekers and mega strrrrrrreeeeeetttttchhh. This one is done in 60-65 days and has a smooth sat buzz. I have one outside and it should be near done mid oct.
N2ishun- I'm going to stick with the 2k for now and see how it grows. I would maybe even consider switching to 4or 5 400w in the same space to more evenly distribute the wattage.
The soil mix used was based on the new promix with myke added and I could see some white fungus on the surface of the mix after a few days in action.
There was sheep manure added in about 20% or less maybe and some kelp meal, greensand and alfalfa pellets. All the seedlings were recently topped and have begun growing nicely. I would like to veg a few weeks and then bloom!!! If there are males of the old nlhp I may save some pollen, All the ogbx males will be milked and pollen mixed and stored....I don't know if the ogbx is any good but time will tell all.

Hey OA,
I have some of Dmans Crazy Daze beans.
Was thinking about putting them with a Thai-tanic and
or The Real McCoy.
Any thoughts??

my thoughts are that I'm pissed I didn't buy all of dman's strains when I could, and that you should grow those mofos immediately so that I can at least see the sexy results of his work. :bang:

That sucks that Dman isn't here anymore!!!!! I don't know what happened and would prefer not to get involved but this site isn't much without him and some of the other top contributers that have left.
Well I don't have anywhere else to go so Im posting here
Dragon- I think the cd would go well with either real mccoy or thai tanic as they are both long season sats as well. watch out the crazy daze can get out of hand, I wish my old thread on cw was still around to show you the pics
Crotch sniffer- I hear you on that, Dmans are great seeds and at a great price, I still have 12 of his mystery magic mix to run!!!
Dozee, I dont have a cam right now, but by the looks of some of these plants I will get one in there in bloom for photos.
Bram- I just harvested a outdoor vt, she is a nice plant to have. Very smooth up high that is great for everyday. CC's first batch is looking very nice so far, the 2nd and 3rd have sprouted but sadly no mothers finest have surfaced yet.....I was really hoping to grow them out.....maybe another time.,

What is the Vision Thai's background? I've seen it listed in many favorites list, but not familiar with her.

if i remember correctly its thai, with afghan thrown in somewhere. but the VT is pretty heady, so I dont think the afghan had much influence other then to make it a faster flowerer. maybe the breeder could clue us in more tho.

Hi, the vt was bred by TC as many of you know. If i remember right it was a highland purple thai mom X afghani then bx'd to the thai mom 3x??
I also have the other end the pineapple thai, a cousin of sorts....she is hopefully revegging now for further grows.
3 mothers finest sprouted!!!
Ive already identified a few males with preflowers in 24hr light
they will be killed, but the ogbx m,ales will be milked for pollen some how, maybe at my appartment away from, the grow. Ima cross the og onto the vt and cd and maybe pt if its ready aswell. Getting some panda plastic for the walls this weekend, then another 1k hps will be hung up and the lights will flip to 12/12. The seedlings were all topped and are branching nicely, a few of the clones were getting tall and were topped as well, so there should be some nice bushes!!! Im only gonna do one photo shoot and Im thinking about 55-60 days into bloom should be a good time!!! SO there wont be any pics here till almost xmas...but they will be worth the wait.
As far as I can tell I will be staying here..I really dont want to have to go and log onto some other site... I was just getting used to this one!!
Dman was banned? if this is true, then I may have to leave just on principle.
I really wish someone would give me a condensed version of what happened here. All the mods and ppl who left.....did they leave just because they couldn't be mods anymore? What were cray and vapors plans? did they work out? are there mods now? someone fill me in... I read a bit in bjc....but dont have time to sort out all the crap.
