lande lord will be over to chech heater for wintyer.. so that means i have t move 110 gal res and plants intop my room!!
ALso it stinks SOO bad... I thinking of buying odor gel and cooking!!
Im spooked any ideas?

I have a vaportec 4000 it really works, unfortunetly the pine scent was made with real pine resin, kids and wife were allergic to it.

A slow cooked (250-275 degrees) pork shoulder with lots of teriaki marinade will cover up just about any odor, good luck !

Papi's dead on with that one... A good strong fish would do the trick too. Grab about ten of those oil plug ins and put them everywhere, they help a ton when you put them on high, but they burn out fast. If you have a fireplace, I'd reccomend putting a fire on.... Heh, I've been stuck in a similar situation...

for me a big pot of boiling beans with alot of garlic and onions and peppers makes the house stink for days. slow boil the beans for about 4-6 hours and add water as needed.

Getting those air fresheners with the fans in them, they work pretty well.....or you could make some cannabutter.........Triiniity says it smells like rotting cabbage when I make it :D

If the smell is really bad, rent a U-Haul, and put them in there for a day and hand water them to keep them moist, if that option is even possible. Just leave them in the dark, and put them back inside as soon as possible after he leaves.

Seems like a lot of work,but it can be done.Had a friend who's house went up for sale.He had to let the landlords show it 5 weekends in a row.I know people will take this out of context,but he refers to it as hiding the Jews from the Nazis.

ya stand there spraying ozium while the landlord is there, he won't suspect a thing... ozium is good for getting the smell of a joint out of the car. i've used the metered timers and they OK at best, unless you have about 5 in each room.
one barely removes a catbox smell.

nothing wrong with burning some patchouli incense...............actually , OldSog's beans and garlic will work for 3 days and nights..........now after that , you might need some ozium in the bathroom.....

WEll For starters I have 2 4x4 trays, 2 2x3 trays loaded 5 weeks in bloom .
a mother closet and veg. everythings in nft so the roots are tangled..
I can move up stairs into 2 rooms and lock the bedroom doors no problem, so he can get into basement... he knows I smoke bud and is I guess cool cuz he gets high" he says".. But im just concernd with him descovering the magnatude of the grow!!.. i have 3 foot beasts all around...

Theres a dank humid green funky smell. weed my cover it up a lil but theres a distictive freash herb smell notasably not smoked bud..

How are you gonna get a 4x4 uptairs with plants in it. I assume you would have help, and have a stairway and door 4ft wide?

Has anyone ever done root pruining in nft? or hydro? I have used bonsai root pruning tech in soilless to keep mothers in same size containters for longer, but never tried it with water.

If you could detangle the majority of each plants root system, although some of the root ends would brake off, it might effect it like a root pruning, which is to accellerate vigourous growth. Not that you need to root prune, but if you could get them out you could get it out of the house completely. He can't see shit if it aint there.

Actually, if you wanna talk testicular fortitude, my friend who is having problems, the one from the thread in the sick plant forum, was using hydro huts, full of plants, and the AC needed charged. The repair man had to come inside into the same room with the plants. He just zipped up all the huts, took off the ducting from the outside, tucked all the wires inside the huts, and let him in. THings had just started to flower so no smell yet with air fresheners in use. He said they were darkrooms for his son, the photography graduate student. The dude was literally inches away, but that was 2 months ago and all is well :) Except for the grow problems

If you can get it all in your room, that would be the way to go. Check you hydro store for "ona" blocks or gel. It works pretty well for odor.

Also, if he tries to get into your room for some reason, give the old knowing man-to-man smile and say "sorry man, no can do, my GF is in thier, I put her to sleep before you got here.....wink, nudge....I think she's still naked on the bed, sorry."

What needs to be done to the furnace? Change the filter? Turn on gas? I been in my rental a couple years and when I need something done I will call him and say..."I'll do this for X dollars off the rent." Works every time. Lazy mofo.

You can put Lysol in a bucket with a little water and bubble it, it will stink the whole house out like lysol and he will just think you have been cleaning.

I do the 'hiding the jews from the nazi's' (U-Haul) and it works flawlessly. Bag all plants, tape them shut and box 'em, no smell (contractor bags), and the cost is under a hundred bucks.
In fact I am doing it this weekend, lease-end inspection, and since I am doing it, moving to a new location (security issues).

The peace-of-mind is worth the hassle.

All visitors should phone first, as the new location is a ways away.

As soon as I saw this thread I knew you'd chime in with your bacon whiff! :laugh2:

It not only works real well (I've tested it while 2 1/2 lbs. was drying in the back bedroom and family was visiting!) but you can't beat a good BLT. Maybe with some bacon from the Farmer's Market otis? ;) I like mine on walnut wheat bread with a cold :beer:

another suggestion
pour a few tbsp of curry powder into a pan and let it warm to a slight smoke, it will stink the entire house up. you'll smell curry for 2weeks

Yeah funkyflava you're right, I use curry sometimes to mask the smell of making cannabutter. Curry, onions, garlic just keep simmering it. Always smells so good makes me wish I'd put some meat in it.

you guys might think this is gay but I buy six yankee candles and light them I can burn a joint with my grow going strong and my family and niebors always says my house smells so clean and fresh. they have to be yankee candles though. and the bacon works awsome too
