Haiku Throwdown!! ... show your stuff!!

A cool idea from PG... at least to me anyway... I like to make up rhymes! :D

Haiku: A verse ususally associated with deep understanding and meaning ... if I am not mistaken it's origins are from Japaneses Daowism... sort of a gurus way to "play" with thoughts....

There IS a format that must be followed:

first line: 5 syllables
second line: 7 syllables
third line: 5 syllables (am I spelling that shizit right??? *shrugs*)

ALSO... some reference SHOULD be made to the seasons... but that is routinely ignored by the Non-guru types... including myself...

.. a recent one of mine for example:

Issa was a master of Zen poetry. If he took a shit on a piece of paper and called it haiku, you'd have to look at at it very closely from all angles before you questioned it.

Since it was written in Japanese prose, it may or may not have the "correct" syllabic format. The stark juxtaposition of absolute and relative is what matters most, and that's where the translation focuses.
