Couple questions.

Im getting ready to try making some bubble. Im going to use a 3 bag system.

Its a tad foggy on how the bags are actually used. What Im getting from reading is that all the bags will go in the same bucket at the same time? Is this how it works? So basically the trichs are going to be going through the 3 bags all at once?

Perhaps a video will help?

This was made by a very knowlegable gal. It has step by step instructions and even flash cards so you will know exactly what is going on. It's a bit long but I think it will help anyone wanting to know more about the process :). Hope it helps and much luck.

Video doesn't work.

BCW,
I think it's easier if you mix in one bucket and then pour that through your bags.
Put your trim and lots and lots of ice in 1 bucket with no bags and mix with a cordless drill or kitchen mixer for 15 mintues or so. Then pull all the wet mix off the top and set aside. Now get your other bucket and add ice to that inside the bags(yes all 3 go in..smallest micron first) and pour that water into bags.
Let this sit at least 2 hrs so the trichs settle and pull bags one at a time.

Once you are done you can mix the trim again for a second run.
They key is lots of ice and let it sit.

Thx again for the insight. I think I have the process pretty much down.

One more question. Whats the one way the fuck a batch up? Or whats the most common avoidable mistake one can make when making bubble?

peace thx

I think trying to run too much trim at one time is a common mistake that I made early on. Use lots of ice !!!

Don't mix it too vigorously, will add contamination, gentle mixing works best.

Be sure to use plenty of ice.

Old, crushed powdery trim doesn't work well, try to use fresh frozen when possible.

Thx again for the info.

Most of my trim and buds I plan to make bubble with has been dried and has been frozen for a few weeks or more so Im sure it will be really crumbly. So I guess my best move will be not to agitate it to much and try now to powderize the trimings eh?

Just a run down for referance.

I will take a 5 gal pail line the bags smallest micron first to largest in bucket filled with lots of ice and water so the level is half way up the buckets and bags. Stir gently for 20 mins or so and then remove trim, kinda gently swash the micron area of the bag around so trichs fall through, then repeat with the other two bags removing them as I go. resulting in the bucketfilled with water and ice hoping for gold at the bottom??

Just sent ya a PM. Don't mix in the bags as you risk tearing them.Mix in a seperate bucket & pour mixture into bucket with bags. The trim ( trash) & ice will stay in the 220 bag . Just lift it out of the bucket , let it drain into the remaining bags/bucket & set it aside for 2nd run. Then start pulling bags with hash in the bottom after they drain. Let bags drain into bucket with remaining bags.

Bag maintenance is very important too.Things like cleaning out the bags immediaely with fresh icy cold water.Do it before you move on to the next bag.Never use hot water or solvents on your bags. This will also increase longevity.

Also impoortant to properly dry finished product.I have gone through the whole process in a few other threads in this forum. If you can't find it please PM me and I'll go through it with you.Nothing worse than having your bubble go moldy on you.Good Luck.Peace GS

Green Supreme is correct on this one. My bags ( which BCW is using) are 4-5 years old & still work great. The pressing screens are getting a little worn , but I'll go to the art supply place & get some new pieces for cheap.

Our little spin, Is, we make sure everything is food grade and use the residual water for iced tea. Nothing like 20 gallons of 'green tea' for sippin'.
