Meduser's site down?

Hey anyone notice that meduser's site is down?

Hi Joe and thanks for asking
meduser.ca has been down for the last 48 hours, due our main server in the Netherlands crashing.
We were also experiencing some database issues before they crashed, which may or may not be related.
Yesterday, the host put their "so-called backup server" into place, and it could not handle the excessive load, and promptly crashed again 20 mins later.
I have tried to establish when they will have us back online, but they cannot tell me.
Needless to say, I am a little upset, as are the folks in our community who rely on the site for support in one form or another.
I have started looking for a new host based in the Netherlands, and assuming I can get at my files on the current server sometime soon, will most likely be moving us off of the current nightmare host.
My humblest appologies to the community for this "surprise" interuption.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear that it is a server issue and not some other thing :eek:

Bottom line...

Our main server in the Netherlands crashed.
They tried to mickey mouse something together using their old outdated servers, (which barely or didn't work) until they could get a NEW server in this morning at 3AM Pacifc time.
They were allegedly going to have the HD's out of the old and into the new system an hour or so after that.
So far they have bullshitted me almost continually since they damn thing went down THREE days ago now, so I am not going to hold my breath.
All I can say is NEVER get hosted by "hostcolor.com"....
They are a JOKE!

Anyway, MAYBE the site will be back by 10 am... (IF they aren't lying again)
