Triacontanol...Super Growth 30-60% increace

I have always entertained the idea of the use of Alfalfa meal (3-1-2) in my soil or to make a tea out of so I took the plunge and man it makes a difference. If you are unsure of this chemical do a google search on the subject and you will be sold hands down.
There are 46 posts on the subject from Doctors of horticulture from major universities and the one that sold me was where it stated that super thrive contained this chemical and the use of it dates back to the early 1900's. Corn farmers use this to increase crop production. No wonder my plants grew so well back in Indiana corn fields where I learned to grow!!!
If any of you want to try this organic wonder and have problems finding it in your area PM me. Not everyone has a feed store in their area. and 50lb bag goes a long way so let me know and we will work something out. Happy growing!!!! Peace!!!

Mister Ito if you are going to use in an Aero set up you can go the health food store and buy pure alfalfa tablets for human consumption. As to what I gathered from from reading 46 different posts that are listed (If you research Triacontanol on www.Google.com) They state that 5 tablets (From the health food store) 500-600 mg per gal of water.
I am a soil farmer and they eithor suggest a tea made from alfalfa pellets from your local feed store ...2 handfuls in an old sock and float in 5 gal. of water for 48 hours. If plants are all ready established do not repot using pellets in your soil. Doing so might cause root burn due to rapid decomposition of alfalfa it will produce heat. If you are going to mix Vic's super soil and plan to let it ferment for a few weeks to a month then add the pellets 3 cups per 25 liter of soil.
Basicly Superthrive contains this same chemical but it is prefered by most in raw form because it contains benifical microbes for your plants.
I did how ever make the mistake of mixing Superthrive and B'cuzz and wiped out alot of girls. I am how ever using B'cuzz bloom (0-2-4)and alfalfa tea (3-1-2)and Miracle Grow Bloom (10-52-10) have no problems. and I got 40 girls going and 56 babies comming up in 30 days and they are all loving it.
I realized I have danced around your question about ppm Mister Ito but due to being a soil farmer ...I gave up my bubblers .... I have had no reason to check this part of your question. All my girls are 15 days into bloom and no bad reactions.
Uncle Ben swears by it.... and I am a believer too. If you buy a 50 lb bag of the meal your ave cost at a feed store is 6.00- 10.00 U.S. and that is alot of feed for a little bit of money. Not sure the cost of tablets at your local health food store.
This has been around for 50 years and they say the results of triacontanol should double weight of plants per growing season. Hope this helps everyone ...Happy Growing !!!! Peace!!!

Katmandu...being that I ran hydro for a while I understand the importance of the 5.6 ph balance so that plants get max up take of nutes and ferts. This is exactly what Alfalfa meal does and why it will burn your roots if you are not careful. Tea seems to be the most immediate form to jazz up your plants or a slower way is a top dressing of 1 cup per 3 gal of soil. As to answer your question an 15 gal of soil as a mix 3-4 cups of pellets per (25 liter or 10 gal of soil) add your bone meal ,worm poop and all the extra goodies and then wet the soil and let sit for 2 -3 weeks and stir every couple of days. You will need to ph your soil before adding any plant life to it.
Thus I opted to use the tea 4 times during the life of the plant. I can change the PH to what ever I like and get immediate results. Using my Ph up or down from General Hydro. Katmandu if you are having trouble getting it cheap (Alfalfa Meal) PM me and I'll hook you up here. Got more than I need for the next year and do not need it going bad.
There is so much to understand about all of this and as for myself I am still trying to piece meal it all together in my head. This is why I suggested that those interested in Triacontanol be as well versed as I am trying to be by going to to www.Google.com and researching this. I do not have all the answers and some of the posts are hard to understand because they are written by by those with a doctoriate from major Universities in Horticulture. I am working on it. I hope this answers more of your questions. Happy Growing !!!!!

Followed your link to Google, typed in alfalfa, got 376,000 pages of sites to check out! Got through 25 of 'em so far, and only found 2 links to be helpful, both from rose growers. Here's one for fert: http://www.nurserysite.com/clubs/pe...fertilizer.html
Here's one for tea: http://www.ars.org/experts/alfalfa.html
The fert mix gives me some guidance as to how much meal to use, in relation to other additives. I think this search might be more productive if I look into the rose growing area. Oh yeah, thanks IBB for the offer, but I already have 50 lbs. of meal, which should last longer than I will. BTW, the latin name for alfalfa is medicago sativa. SATIVA? Anybody ever try smoking this stuff? ;^)
