they work pretty good for the most part. I have a trim pro ( won in a contest). They are great for removing the bulk of the fan leaves but it is hard to reach some places on the branches. Even as good as a job it does you still need to do the detail trimming. Still it cuts the trim time down considerably.

I also have a trim pro, I normally take all the fans off by hand, and cut branches off into singles. Save about 30 hours every run. And still a lot of finger hash on the blades and grill. And all the trim is nicelly grinded down for use in the bubblebags. Paid itself off the very first run.
Paid $1500 CAD for mine, gots to shop around.

nothing corporate here Brother, like you said this is a community, lots of donations, and like I said The fans still need to come off, and branches broken down.

Dozzee, before the machine it would take me about 7-8 hours an elbow, very time saving.
I don't post pics no more Brother.

<<Dozzee, before the machine it would take me about 7-8 hours an elbow,>>

Those must be some very beautiful bushes?!? To bad you don't do pics, I'd love to see one.

For me, an hour per elbow is a labour of LOVE. Not much finger hash, we use vinyl gloves, but plenty scissor hash and trim for bubble hash. :)

I thought of buying one of those trimmers before but I felt it would take away from my appreciation of my gains..... ;)

you still have to do all your detail work when you use a trimmer. It just takes the bulk of the work load taking away all the larger leaves. Detail work still has to be done by hand.
