Maybe I've just never payed attention in 20+ yrs of this hobby, but today was the first time I've seen this.
I was checking a seeded mom today (with magnification) at a friend's place and saw numerous calyx(s) with two seeds in them. The plants were fertilized by taking a male and blowing pollen onto the females. That is the only thing different, than years past. Normally just take a male branch and shake it lightly over a selected female branch in a somewhat controlled and isolated manner.
It is a plant that I've never had experience with. Lowryder (no ruderalis BS, etc, etc, comments please) from the auction a year or so back.
Anyone seen this or have any comments? I've never equated two pistils, two seeds before.
peace, crew
