Male flowers under 24/7

seeds germed June 29th showed balls under 24/7 about 42 days
AK47 x NL

I never seen anything like it, I know out of 49 germed of this cross most males showed after 8-9 weeks of veg.but usually when I went from 24/7 to 12/12 they showed in 1-2 days.

Anyone have expierence with AK autoflowering?

if the roots are becoming restricted yes, now are these plants going full on flowering or just pre-flowering

I know I used Miricle grow organic soil for first time, gets its N from poultry litter

that would be root restriction, it happens
btw the mars thing is a hoax

c-ray, they were in 1 gallon pots before being repotted in 5 gallon, but balls showed 1-2 days after repotting.

i think not only root restriction can cause this kind of response, more kind of stresses will make plants show sex earlier.
Maybe just the repotting itself would be enough, combined with a soil thats hotter than normal?

What i meant was that you might have a hotspot in this one pot, causing (water) stress, additionally to the possible stress of a transplant.
Stress can be used to force the plant into flowering.

High P or an high EC in the rootzone in general can easily create water stress situations.

But i'm just guessing wild here tj_142, so don't take me to seriously :)

Usually i would say that if the soil is the only thing that changed, it might be the factor, but i honestly don't know if your environment is to blame, many breeders would argue that sex is predetermined at conception.

Maybe some folks with a better understanding will chime in, there is plenty around c-w.
