Holy Mackeral...................5 new cukes a day to pick.
Anyone have a cold brine recipe?
I just want to pick, slice longwise and toss in brine?
Dill and garlic would be great!!!!!

2 to 2.5 tablespoons of celtic sea salt per liter or quart of water (a liter and a quart are about the same)
works out to about 1 ml of celtic sea salt per 32 ml of water
one can pretty much pickle anything with a brine, carrots, radishes, daikon, kohlrabi, cauliflower, brocolli, onions, eggs, beets, peppers, etc. etc. etc...

I prefer the cold pickling, it keeps the cukes nice and hard so they snap when you bite into them.
