Will i have problems using a 1000 Hps to use thru all cycles>?
Seedling,Veg,clone(maybe not clone, and flower.
Can i use 1 lamp for all cycles?
Or do you suggest i use a small fluro setup for seedlings?
I just assume the more watts the faster the seedlings grow.
Any of you 20 year growers care to help me out.
It's not really my first grow but never just used one lamo for all, but the space has limitations.:dancing:

Hey tubut kind, you can do it all with a 1k hps if you keep the heat produced from frying the little ones by raising the light. However in the long run you will probably need more than 1 light. Makes life easier. You will need a space for moms and clones unless you figure on starting from seed each show.

I half another 800 watts but space limitation and the fact that seeds are the only plants ti be grown this cycle.

tubut kind, tell us what you have to work with space wise. First off make sure you have a path of fresh air flow to and from the grow room. If you can't do this STOP right now because you will be pushing a chain uphill.

IMO part of it depends on what you are willing to handle. I really don't like the idea of a 1000w over seedlings, as not only heat will be an issue, but the plants motabolisms will increase, soil will dry faster, etc., will make your presence more required with less time to nurture and make adjustments. But if you are up to it, it can be done. I just like the easy pace of a few fluoros for the first 2-3 weeks.
