View Full Version : Malawi Spice
I was thinking of cracking some of these babies and I was hoping people might have some advice. I seem to recall from the old cw that they were pretty malawi dominant. I was thinking of going 12/12 from the start as don't have a ton of headroom.
Anybody have any more tips, tricks or general insight? I smoked a pile of Malawi Gold in Malawi and the good stuff was really out of this world, so I am pretty pumped to see what DMan has done with this cross. Should be stellar!

I'd have to go from memory here but it's good and worth growing...about 70+ days flowering time I think. Yields big, long thick dense buds for a sativa. Tastes Earthy/Spicy. Pretty potent..made me see the shawdow people. A light feeder but wasn't finicky...I don't remember her streching like I thought she would.
I'd grow it again.

"....made me see the shawdow people"
Are those the amorphous dark shapes in my peripheral vision?

We had to have a little chat....
Hi Dert,
Don't go right into 12/12...the OS Poppa has kept the Malawi Mom in check my friend. ;) Most pheno's are tall, but with decent light (1k)....they won't get out of hand once flowering is induced. Yields are very good for a Sat dom, nice spears by 70-75 days. :)
Expect a very uplifting high, with little to no ceiling! :teeth:
Thanks guys! They are soaking right now, hopefully I can give some updates as they progress.

Hi there
This is indoor test grow 2010.
Malawi Gold is huge: giant fan leaves, slender, long internodes, grows up quickly, turn to flower is not difficulty, sticky flowers, airy buds.
High is speedy and motivating, not heartracing like some thais.
