I just got busted and don't know what to do? I had over 100 plants,should i contact a lawyer?

Real sorry to hear of your troubles. I would specifically find a lawyer who handles the specific type of case you have pending. Most of all, try to keep your head about you. It can be tough..........and they love to know they have you fearing the wrath of the justice system. Take care and keep us as informed as you can.

Edit:

Another consideration, as far as considering specific lawyers, is to find out if you will face state or federal charges. The basic jist of this is that you want to find a lawyer that goes in front of your judge on a regular basis, has a working relationship with the SPECIFIC prosecutor's office who will file the charges, etc.

They gotta list of lawyers w/exp. in handling such cases listed by state.
It's a good start anyway. Don't trust your freedom to some jackass in the phonebook or on TV. Ask any lawyer you seek out about their track record w/such cases, they should be able to show you.

Most definitly get a Lawyer..Hell try as many as you can untill you find the right one...
Dont just settle on your first choice...
When searching for a lawyer ask them EVERY question you can think of...
He might have been a prosecuting attorney before going into private practice..
His brother/cousin/father could be all somehow involved in the Criminal UNJUSTICE system...Watch your back..
Just do your research bro..

Sorry to hear of you bad luck bro. :( Definitely get a good attorney now, and DO NOT try and represent yourself. Say ABSOLUTELY nothing until you have legal representation beside you my friend. Are you in the US or Canada....what state/province? What are the specific charge(s)? What are your thoughts on how LEO was tipped off to you?

In the states, over a hundred can be either state or federal charges... depends on which agency brought you down. Lots of times, the state files first, making it difficult for the federales to pick it up. Just a thought.

From what i read Mota was caught by a helicopter flying overhead.....Supposedly had more than 100 but less than 199 plants....They only took his plants and lights and did not take his computer so he is sure it was not internet related....Sucks that these laws still exist that prevent the US from realizing the great good this plant can do.....Hang in there Mota....

If this was an indoor grow there's hope. Possibly scanned his house without a warrant? There was a local bust here not long ago where that happened and it got thrown out because they didn't have a warrant or probable cause to scan his house. They said they had an anonymous tip, but the judge didn't buy it.

if he was arrested , and charges are pending , and he has an attorney , sometimes the lawyers make you sign a contract to not say anything to anyone, until the case is over...........

until you have been in his shoes, you just don't realize what a shitty feeling being busted is , you feel like a leper in the Community , the anxiety is like a roller-coaster , going from hope to despair in 2 seconds , the paranoia is the same , you are afraid to talk to anyone , for fear They are listening , have your phones bugged , have your home bugged , put chips in your car , tracking your movements , ...........................

this shitty feeling is ratcheted up by a 10 factor if your married and have kids , and if you are a homeowner......you worry if They will seize your bank accounts , retirement accounts , home , and anything else They think is evidence.......

mota my brother , if you are lurking , hang in there , it will pass....
