my girl wont smoke pure indicas cuz she hates the high:(
and i sorta agree.. some what .. i guess i would rathere be peranoid and psycidelic than sleepy...
I do like indica sativa hybreeds ...just so dam lazy this week !!!! any who im just ranting and woundering if there are any sativa heads out there?

lumboG @ 13 weeks, this girls a real tropical plant, she dont flip under 12/12. blowin up under 10/14, i dont think ill ever run a sativa under 12/12 again, to the left there is the same cut at 6wks.

LOL here about how different we're all made and how the herb affects us.

I'm on the opposite end, DOZEE. I want to find the the dankest dank, the most dick-in-the-dirt stone, and that frosting...yeah..that frosting. I've YET to find a modern day sativa that is anywhere near "psychedelic", and the ones folks say make 'em all racy and get em high for 8 hours and the like don't seem to register on the meter here much at all. Of course, I'm not doubting that such weed is out there, mind ya, and hey...maybe I'm just not cut out to be a sativa grower.... I'm just saying that I've grown many more disappointing satis than I have indicas...and waiting 7-8 weeks for something that sucks is nothing compared to waiting 13-14 for something that sucks (usually even worse).

What I know is that there aren't near enough affies/hashplants/straight-up-damkage in the seed collection here...and there are far too many sativas in there...most of which won't be grown unless someone I know/trust/can believe/who has been smoking more than a few years takes the beans/grows 'em out and sends me a cut with a "um...try this dumbass" note pinned on it. As a med patient, runnig 4 or 5 10-14 week strains that are nothing to write home about/barely get ya high is enough here. (A BHO and bubblehash run out of about 1.5 pounds of weed that just isn't my thing is on the horizon)

I do enjoy hearing folks speak of enjoying the satis...don't get me wrong...and I for sure grew up on 'em and got stoned on em a bunch (low tolerance played into alot of that, IMO)...

it just hasn't happened here recently and at this point I'm very hesitant to try again.

Bring on the 7-8 week reek-ass indicas! I'll double up the filters!

Hehe, I've got sats that'll almost make you wish you didn't just smoke that :D

Nearly every smoker I know was a indi freak when I met them and now when I come over they go 'oh shit, it's the guy with the bubonic chronic'.
Not all sats are racey.....only the wussy ones are.
A serious strong sat will make you mumble and stare at the walls like you're smacked back and fully non functional.

From all the years I've been growing I've always found the racey sats had either mexican or african in them.
I don't like that aspect of them so I just stay away from those.

I'd love to try something such as that, cottonballs. I've heard the stories, but obviously haven't been privileged to smoke the weed that makes it all happen. I remember the lumbos and the thai sticks that kicked, but the modern day seed stock I've grown that says it's "thai" pales seriously in comparison to those. Ditto with the only "Haze" I gave a shot. What crap. You'd have to smoke all 5 oz of this weed at once to "trip" on this stuff! NOT!

the closest I'm gonna come in the near future to an all-out sativa high is the Trainwreck clone and the S-1's. Will that count? LOL.

i havent had my OP under those conditions for very long yet, but have established cuts in there right now and will see if anytime is knocked off what im used to.

In a couple of weeks I will be smoking the Farmers Choice that was gifted to me by an old Cali Hippie. 80 days and the buds are hard as rocks, no fluffy sativa buds here. If look and smell are anything these should be a sativa lovers Heaven. I remember the great Lumbo's of the 70's that a half a scone gave you brain freeze and tunnel vision. Smoke a whole scone and you were wrecked for three hours.

Most of you know that I have been growing the C-99 crosses for the last several years to help with pain control. One in particular will always be in the garden, but it looks like the FC is going to become at least 50% of my six plant grow.

Okay Joe, and can agree with that. Now just where do you place the NL/C-99 I have in the bubbler in front of me right now? Sativa dominant or Indica dominant? If you are wrong on this test question, it will be dulely noted and documented! :laughing:

after growing lots of sat doms in the last few years and having some nice specimens put aside ( vt, crazy daze) Im heading the other way for a while!! I'm growing out some indicas now, I have a few old nl, nlxhp, bc hpx ghaze and mazarx gbwxghaze....somehwere in that pile is the cure for insomnia!! I will of course run some thai and crazy daze as well to balance things out!! Ive also got some of suge knight's og bx growing, wtf will they be....sat dom or what...who knows?
