Jojo's "Candy Haze" F2

So what about it?

Somebody has to have grown these out by now. I remember all the controversy surrounding these and I don't believe them to be Candy Haze F2 after reading all the facts, but are they a haze of some type and are they worth it?

I have a pack and want to try them soonish but don't want to waste my time.

hey bopper, if memory serves me right, never did archive it, but the purple candy haze uses ADutchies purple haze which is a cross, not straight PHaze.

I did both the Purple Candy Haze & Mango Candy Haze, lets just say they're no longer with us!LOL. In their defense I will say that they were both very manageable for haze's and I did find 1 particular pheno in the Purple Candy Haze that was pretty damn strong and remains in AF's garden. The Mango Candy Haze was a very big disappointment as I had 2 phenos that I made huge mama's out of cuz they smelled Unfukinbelievable, but like in so many cases, the great aroma didn't transfer over into the taste. So I flowered out those mama's and the world turns...

hey bopper, if memory serves me right, never did archive it, but the purple candy haze uses ADutchies purple haze which is a cross, not straight PHaze.

I dunno about that, cuz if my memory serves me correct it was a clone-only Purple Haze that JoJo used for this cross. He used to have pictures of it in his gallery at the old CW.

No offense intended, but before tossing beans on Grohard's sayso, it might be prudent to check his previous posts. Suffice it to say, that only a few types, mostly Kushes, many from Orgnkid, were found to be worth keeping. You might not have similar tastes. :)

Suffice it to say, that only a few types, mostly Kushes, many from Orgnkid, were found to be worth keeping. I don't believe that he is a Blue Heaven, SPG kind of guy (correct me, if I'm wrong), so you might not have similar tastes. :)

well like i said when i was lookin for PHaze, i did lots of lookin, and had purchased ADutcies PHaze off cbay, and found out its not straight original haze.

i just did a google on Jojo and ADutchie, heres a few blurbs, most all info was on CW and OG. i guess theres no way to read the threads at this point.

so take it how ever you want, in my searchin the only purple haze ive seen offered is ADutchies, and imo is not straight PHaze. and from positronics which also was a cross. imo, ADutchie prolly got his PHaze from positronics.

anyway, i know i have PHaze, gleaned from TomHills OHaze offerin. will be firin um up soon and see if i improved the number of purple haze plants in my seed:D

The Purple Haze I am using is not the phoney baloney from Mr Chronic or ADutchie. The one I am using I received from a guy that brought them back from Europe where he said he got them from Nevil direct many years ago. I have had this one pack for a couple years. He had them stored for years. I recieived alot of other very rare strains at the same time from the same source. Everything I have tried so far makes me believe he was telling me the truth. By the way, I still have some Yellow Cab from the Grey Area, some original Pancake, original Jack's Cleaner, original Big Sur Holy Weed and others I can't remember right now. I have kept them stored nicely and got 100% germination from all the strains I cracked including the Purple Haze. If you recall the Mr Chronic strain it was a wide leaf Beri Beri cross I think. It looked nothing like Haze. Take a look at my Purple Haze. Now that is a real Haze. I hope this helps to clarify for everyone. I'll try to keep pictures posted.
I hope to breed each of those 4 strains that I started with with each of the 4 strains. Because of promises I made the Candy Haze will not be offered except as a cross even though I will make some f2s. I have not contacted mebeanboy yet but I will not offer his Grapefruit Mango as an f2 without his consent. Although I have not tested, or even made these yet, I am sure there will be some top quality crosses ready in a few months. We will all be having a very Hazy winter.

I was just being tounge and cheek actually. The most I will do is push them way back on the pop list. I'm too intriged with them to trade or toss them, its just that I have a shitload of seeds and I'm trying to figure what to crack next and I don't have anything hazey on hand.

Kephra, grab that Super Silver Haze cut thats floating around.

As soon as the weather permits I think I will be hunting down said clone. :)

No, I would never say to not give them a try, that is a defeatist attitude, you can't possibly find a keeper pheno if you don't give 'em a try!LOL, It's like the Lotto, You gotta be In It, To Win It! I don't know about ya'll but in my quest for keepers I've often times bought numerous packs of the same strain, only to find out that it was very necessary because out of 30-40 beans you are Very Lucky just to get 1 keeper. I don't mean average/decent or even good smoke I'm talking about exceptional smoke that will be well received in every circle. Yes, In the kush threads I am very fond of many of Orgnkids strains, So What, that doesn't mean I don't like other strains such as Haze. Matter of fact I was born & raised in N.Y.C. the home of Haze!LOL I'm not joking but the most prevalent high grade herb that was available throughout the 5 boros was easily Haze. Still is to this day, Diesel ofcourse is preferred but not nearly as readily available as Haze. Even where I stay now, theres a steady influx of Haze from Fl. that's Always available!LOL, Super Silver Haze, Black Haze, The Candy(CandyHaze). I'm SO OVER HAZE!! I just have built such a tolerance to it that I can only get high off of it for like 2 days every 6 months! I guess I've had that same cannabinoid profile so often that my body just resists it almost automatically. BTW I'm Very fond of quite a few strains just don't have them, can you help me? I want "Ghanz"/"Ghan" a brutally strong Afghani strain found in Detroit & Dallas. Also ISO the Portland Pineapple, as well as the Real Socal Bubblegum & HoggsBreath! Just in case you were wonderin' what else I think "the world of".

Boy, Oh Boy, you are a Stickler bopper.LOL I dunno about revisionist history, but let's call it Current trend history. Although California was the birth place of Haze, it can more commonly be found in N.Y.C. Kinda like if you wanted to see the Dodgers play baseball, although the Origins of the Dodgers is Brooklyn most people would consider L.A. the Home of the Dodgers. Do ya feel me? Since in most cases you would find Haze more prominantly in N.Y.C. and I would consider Socal the home of Kush and Norcal home of Purp from my experience. JM2C
