I brought this up at ICMag,but either folks thought I was being facetious or just plumb didn't give two shakes at a low pressure fart zone. The server, would be perfectly safe and sound at the decommisioned gunnery platform known as Sealand, which to my knowledge is a hardened high capacity server site. There are few laws, seeing as it is a sovereign state run by network security specialists. also the prices ook to be about standard for a high end server farm. It would mean chipping in,but safety and community is worth the bucks.

Dude that place costs bank! Think $1500 per month for a colocated server space and only 256k of bandwidth.

ColocationFor organizations with their own systems administration staff, or who wish to purchase services a la carte, HavenCo offers a bare-bones managed colocation package for individual servers. Customers are provided with a machine configured with their choice of OS and remote access software (VNC or SSH), and remote management tools (bandwidth statistics, trouble reporting), but in-depth systems administration is the customer's own responsibility. Servers include 256Kbps of bandwidth and 5 IP addresses. Setup: USD 1 500
Monthly: USD 1 500
Managed ServersManaged servers get priority and in-depth systems administration support. Hardware may be purchased from HavenCo, or we can provide a standard 1U or 2U server owned by HavenCo as part of the package. Managed servers include up to 5 hours/month of systems administration support, and 512Kbps of internet bandwidth. This service also includes 30GB of disk backup on our backup servers. Server also includes 1 block of 14 IP addresses, backup DNS and MX, and an SSL server certificate. Setup: USD 3 000
Monthly: USD 3 500

That didn't paste quite right (and I DID use the code tag).
Go check for yourself.

For that kind of cash someone could just about buy one of AT&T’s old 1950’s cold war hardened communications vaults, get about 3 to 10 acres and 6,300 sq. ft to 10,000 q. ft. or decommissioned Atlas F missile site and use it’s super hardened launch control center.
