Best SOG Strain?

I am looking at doing a small SOG in awhile, and I was wondering what people have found to be the best. Traits I am looking for is main cola dominance, potency and a 8 - 9 week finish.

NYCD is also a good SOG strain. GG's trainwreck looks to be nice as well. I also heard Bubblicious and Blockhead were good short stretching SOG strains.

LUI is amazing.I have been doing it for 3 yrs. now.Doesn't stretch and produces massive chunky ,potent and flavorful buds.Watch humidity in last few weeks.Buds are so dense mold is a good possibility with higher humidity.Very good bubble as well.Good Luck.Peace GS

I'll third lui, also thc's bubblegum works well to and is quicker than lui.

hmmm.... I think I am leaning the way of the LUI more now. I had been thinking about the LUI. Also NL #5 was another one I had been rolling around.

How does SSH do for SOG? Would it be better for maybe a SOG/SCROG hybrid?

hey bram hows it going man? well the bullrider is an afghani x haze hybrid of the highest order, i've got some pics of her in the budshots forum of a plant i finished up at a neighbors house.


flowering a 7" clone i think ended up with a 16-20" plant that yielded around 2 zips. she is an extremly vigorous plant that makes no duff. the high is extremly cerebral and enjoyable as a day smoke but if you smoke a lot at night it will close your eyes no problem.

the only down side is the haze influence has extended its bloom cycle to 65-84 days similar to the sour diesel you can pull her at 9.5 weeks and have some excellent pot but at a full 12 she will be devastating.

i dont know if you've ever heard of the Bubba Dutch SSH it is a 98 greenhouse ssh selection from 30 seeds that would be perfect, she only takes 8 weeks and makes huge buds same haze high

I found the SSH to be too branchy. If you trim it for single cola, you lose a lot of yield.

PurePowerPlant does very well in SOG if your into speedy types of highs.

jammers is a great sog strain that is not worth growing
sorry to digress jammers is the g3 cutting that followed the h3 cutting.
it totally reminds me of gg's trainwreck plantys but i am sure gg's have some kick to them
sorry for all the mildew folks (g3 the most widely exported product in canada rivalling even m39)
apparently we can blame reef, he took credit for the h3 cutting
as best i can infer from c-ray g3 is kali mist x jamaican male.
and grows exactly like gg's trainwrecks
it smells like juicy fruit gum / durian and flowers in 6-7 weeks
it's not a good planty wtsvr but has good sog tendencies.
bram i highly suggest trying to find a sweetskunk cutting

PB, no worries with me and the Jammers, I hate the shit, except for one crop my dad grew outside, that turned out alright. BUt for the whole Jamaican Sugar/ Juicy Fruit = utter shit. I think I would grow feral hemp before I grew Jamaican Sugar. It would be more interesting at least.
