Where does everyone prefer to buy their seeds from? What are some companies that ship to the US? Any seed dealers that you have had a bad experience with? Why do you like the particular seed vendor? Just give any reviews that you have.
Thanks,
-Stevus

find what you like then ask questions about your choice
you'll be spoilt for choice, and i reccomend you download issue one- 2006
and read about " The Doctor"
i cannot go into further detail without flirting with the Rules of C-W
good luck with your choice

Dman,
Thanks for that link.
btw, Has anyone ordered from the Brazilian Seed Co? Anyone from the US lately? I don't ever hear much about them, but it looks like a sativa lover's heaven.
Peace,

Does anyone know if BCGA is still in business? They were supposed to have a real nice varietal of Mango in their inventory. Or could one of you suggest a company as a Mango distributor?

hey marigyp - Reef has got a williams mango that looks killer.
homegrown fantaseeds has mango for sale too.
If you read their description (KC33 x Afghani) it sounds alot like nirvania's KC33 x Master Kush

Shantibaba has a Mango Haze that is pretty special and his gear is top of the line. I believe BCGA went out of business long ago...
Stay safe and watch your six!

Thanks Joe! The WilliamsWonder x Mango of Reefs is not the mango I am looking for. The Mango used in this cross is a Brazialian sativa crossed with WilliamsWonder and it doesn't sound like it would have that green mango flavor I love.
Thanks Muggles for the reference, I went to several seed banks but could not find Shanti's Mango. Oh well guess I will just have to keep looking. Guess I will just have to order some BlueCheese and suffer with that.

marigyp,
ok I see... yes reef's mango is BC mango which is according to him manga rosa x afghani, where manga rosa is the brazilian you speak of...
I was going to say that I noticed federation has a island sweet skunk x bc mango... but i suppose that's also not the mango you are looking for....
what about the homegrown fantaseeds?

There really is no need to spend huge dollars on over hyped crap, unless you have a burning desire for a much lighter wallet and waiting 5 months for a big disappointment.
Here are some good examples; High Quality Seeds Maui Wowie $30 US, Seedsman Hawaiian Skunk $35 US, Nirvana Snow White $20 US, Sensi Seeds White Skunk $20 US.
Those are all great seeds and very inexpensive. They become even more inexpensive if one inbreeds the lines and makes seeds from the best plants for the next crop and does so year after year. Our agrarian grandparents did exactly the same thing with no ill effects.

Well What Are You Looking For In A Strain?
A strain that yields as best as possible, and something that is easy for a beginning grower. Maybe a 50/50 sativa/indica.

How about Blueberry or Northern Lights #5 for first timers? I've mentioned Big Bud before, but everyone scoffs at the mentioning of Big Bud.

I like the idea of recommending an "old favorite" like blueberry or NL#5 for 1st timers. As well as being fairly reliable, they make good points of reference for the future. White Widow is another good starter. Once you get into the culture, the choices are so wide ranging that it's good to have begun with a classic. :)

From what I have gathered from everyone, it's either quality or quanity you have to choose when growing, is this correct for the most part?

Not necessarily Stevus. One example that comes to mind is Joey Weed's Nortern Lights. Great buzz, easy to dial in, & a HUGE yielder. Easy to do 1GPW+ in SOG with it. Taken at 60-65 days she'll rock your world. There are other strains that will produce similar results, but I will keep this strain forever.

Joey Weed's Nortern Lights x Cindy 99 is another easy to grow strain (one of my first grows) that will tolerate lots of abuse and yield well of good strong herb. Another advantage is the odor is low in flower ;)
